Copyright & Usage Rights

1. Copyright Ownership

All photographs, videos, and creative content produced by The Roleas are protected by copyright law (§ 2 UrhG). Dennis Rolea retains full copyright ownership of all works, including but not limited to wedding photographs, films, teasers, highlight reels, and behind-the-scenes content.

2. Client Usage Rights

Upon delivery, clients receive a non-exclusive, personal-use license to:

• Print images for personal display (home, gifts)
• Share images on personal social media
• Use images in personal wedding announcements or thank-you cards

We kindly ask that you credit @theroleas when sharing on social media.

3. Restrictions

Without prior written consent, images and videos may NOT be:

• Used for commercial purposes (advertising, products, resale)
• Submitted to contests or publications
• Edited, filtered, cropped, or altered (including AI-generated modifications)
• Removed of metadata or watermarks
• Claimed as work of another photographer or videographer

4. Vendor & Publication Use

Wedding vendors (venues, planners, florists) wishing to use images from events must contact us for a vendor licensing agreement. Publication requests from magazines, blogs, or media outlets are welcome – please reach out via our contact form.

5. Website Content

All content on theroleas.com – including text, design, layout, images, and video – is the intellectual property of The Roleas. Reproduction, distribution, or use without written permission is prohibited.

6. Infringement

Unauthorized use of our copyrighted material will be pursued under applicable German and international copyright law. If you believe your rights have been infringed, or if you wish to license our work, please contact us at hello@theroleas.com.
